Sergio In Indonesia For Talks

Sergio van Dijk is apparently in Indonesia with his agent for talks with Persib Bandung. The Adelaide United striker is also being linked with Sriwijaya.

Persib have been recruiting heavily for the new season, whenever it begins, which ever league they are in, and have added Herman Dzumafo and Kenji Adichihara to their ranks already.

Van Dijk's wage demands could be interesting. The number I have seen mentioned is a lot more than any other player earns and given the habit clubs have of not paying players you would hope the player and his advisors will be treading very carefully.

Saying that Persib are perhaps the best equipped club at going out into the market place and securing sponsorship.

Comments:
it's almost impossible for Indonesian clubs to sign him,, I heard he asked more than Rp 4 billion for a season.. that number doesn't guarantee a good investment.. look what happened to Mitra Kukar when they signed Marcus Bent..
